The Dixie Valley, Nevada, DVa transect data contains 12 spectra (DVa1-DVa12)
taken from Sarcobatus baileyi (Baily's greasewood) using a GER 2100 
spectroradiometer with a 10 nm sampling interval. The data were taken during 
the first week of June, 1997 using quartz-halogen lights for illumination. The 
sample stations are 0.1 miles apart.

To increase the leaf area taken in each spectrum, a number of leafy stems were 
pruned from each shrub and arranged in a dense bunch prior to spectrum 
acquisition. Some stems and holes (shadow) were unavoidable. 

The data are contained in individual ASCII text files which have been zipped.
